Brussels Griffon vs Mastiff

Brussels Griffons are small, sturdy toy dogs with humanlike, bearded faces and large dark eyes. Deeply attached and “velcro-like,” they thrive on close company, gentle, reward-based training, and moderate daily exercise. Coats may be rough or smooth in rich red, black, or black and tan.

The Mastiff is a giant, heavily built guardian dog, calm and dignified yet deeply devoted to its family. It is watchful rather than aggressive, needs gentle, consistent training, moderate exercise, and space. Its short coat is easy to maintain, but drool, health care, and costs are significant.
