¶General
These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made with Dogs Unleashed AB (org. no. 559049-6807), operating under the brand Get a Pet via getapet.com, getapet.se, getapet.no, getapet.fi, and getapet.dk
Get a Pet offers the sale of products for dogs and cats through our webshop. Our product range includes food, accessories, toys, clothing, and other items for dogs and cats. Our webshop is available to everyone aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, you need consent from your guardian to make a purchase.
We recommend that you create an account with us. This is not a requirement for shopping, but it simplifies the purchasing process and may give you access to special offers.
We process your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy. If you have questions about your purchase, you are welcome to contact us at shop@getapet.com.
¶Orders and Agreement
Orders are placed through our webshop on one of our domains. When you place an order, you accept these terms and conditions and consent to us registering your information in our system.
A binding purchase agreement is created when we send an order confirmation to the email address you provided. It is therefore important that you provide a correct email address. The order confirmation contains your order number and serves as your receipt. Save this for any future contact with our customer service.
We reserve the right to correct errors in product information, prices, or other information on the website. Product images are for guidance and do not guarantee the exact appearance of the product.
We reserve the right for sell-outs, inventory discrepancies, price changes, changes to technical specifications, and technical problems. In case of incorrect pricing, out of stock, or other circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling the order, we reserve the right to cancel the purchase and refund any payment.
¶Prices
All prices are stated in Swedish kronor and include VAT. Shipping costs are added and calculated at checkout. The total cost including shipping is clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.
Shipping cost is 59 SEK for orders under 500 SEK. For purchases over 500 SEK, shipping is free.
Campaign prices are valid until the stated date or while stocks last. If no end date is specified, the price applies until we choose to end the campaign.
Discount codes have specific conditions that are stated where the code is communicated. Discount codes normally cannot be combined with other discount codes, unless otherwise stated. If you have received a discount code from a partner, other conditions may apply according to their information.
¶Payment
Get a Pet uses Stripe Checkout as a payment solution. We offer the following payment methods:
Card Payment
Secure card payment with VISA and Mastercard. No card fees apply. Your card details are not stored with us but are handled securely by our payment partner Stripe, which is PCI-DSS certified.
Invoice via Klarna
You can choose to pay by invoice via Klarna. No invoice fee applies. The invoice is sent via email when the order is shipped from our warehouse. To pay by invoice, the order must be delivered to your registered address, and you need to provide correct personal information. By choosing invoice payment, you accept Klarna's terms.
Swish
Fast and convenient payment with Swish. Pay directly from your mobile with your Swish account. No extra fees apply.
Apple Pay
Fast and secure payment with Apple Pay. Pay easily with your Apple account via iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple Watch. No extra fees apply. Your card details are never shared with us but are handled securely by Apple and our payment partner Stripe.
Google Pay
Pay smoothly and securely with Google Pay directly from your Android device. No card fees apply. Your payment details are not stored with us but are handled securely by Google and our payment partner Stripe.
¶Delivery
We deliver throughout Sweden via PostNord. Normally, we ship your order within 24 hours (on business days), and the delivery time is usually 1-3 business days from when we received your order. However, we reserve the right for possible delays. Some products in our range are made-to-order items that we do not stock ourselves. These are ordered from our suppliers before we can ship them to you, which may result in longer delivery times. If significant delays occur for individual items in your order, we may split the order. You will not pay any additional shipping costs for this.
PostNord Service Point
Your package is delivered to your nearest PostNord service point. You need valid identification and the package's tracking number to collect it.
¶Transport Liability
Get a Pet and our shipping provider are responsible for ensuring that your goods are delivered in good condition. We bear the risk if the product is damaged or lost during transport. In case of transport damage, a claim must be made immediately. Always inspect the package upon receipt. If you collect your package from a service point, we recommend that you report any transport damage to the service point and then contact our customer service. You are responsible for the goods after they have been delivered to you. You are also responsible for ensuring that returned goods reach us intact and undamaged. Always save the receipt from the return and track the shipment.
¶Right of Withdrawal
As a customer, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 30 days from when you received your order. You have the right to examine the goods in the same way as you would in a physical store.
We reserve the right to make deductions from the refund amount if the item has been handled more than necessary to assess its characteristics, or if the packaging has been damaged more than required for normal opening.
Products such as food and treats must be in unopened packaging to be returned. All products with seals must have unbroken seals. All goods that are returned must retain labels, original packaging, and any accompanying manuals.

¶Puppy Packages
We offer puppy packages that contain a collection of products specially compiled for your puppy. Puppy packages are bundled packages with several different products. Special conditions apply to returns of puppy packages. It is not possible to return individual products from the package. If you wish to return a puppy package, the entire package must be returned in its entirety. All products in the package must be in the same condition as when they were delivered - meaning all products must be included, no packaging may be opened, and all items must be unused. If any part of the package has been opened or used, we cannot accept the return.
¶How to Return Goods
To return an item, first contact us at return@getapet.com. We need to confirm that the return is approved and that the withdrawal period has not expired before you send back the goods.
Provide your order number and which products you wish to return. We will then get back to you with instructions and a possible shipping label.
Return shipping is paid by you as a customer. The cost is normally 89 SEK, but for larger packages can be up to a maximum of 189 SEK depending on the package's size and weight.
Ensure that the goods are well packaged when you send back the package. When the return has arrived at our location, we will process your case and contact you if we have any questions. Refunds are normally made within a few business days but can take up to 20 banking days.
We do not offer exchange rights. If you want a different item, you place a new order through our webshop.

¶Complaints
All goods from Get a Pet are covered by statutory complaint rights. The complaint right only applies to original defects in the product, not damage caused by normal wear and tear. Complaints must be made within a reasonable time from when the defect was discovered.
When you discover a defect in the product, contact us as soon as possible at shop@getapet.com.
Complained goods are sent as a package to our return address stated above.
When purchasing from Get a Pet, you always have the right to turn to third parties, such as suppliers or manufacturers who have issued a warranty for your product. Check any warranty with the product manufacturer.
¶Personal Data and GDPR
When you place an order with us and/or create an account, you provide personal information such as name, address, email address, and phone number. Through your registration and order, you agree that we store and use this information to fulfill our commitments to you.
We document all communication with you via email to provide good service. We share your information with our payment and logistics partners to complete purchases and deliveries. Otherwise, we do not disclose your personal information to third parties.
When you make a purchase, we may use your email address to send newsletters with product offers and information. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by contacting us.

¶Changes to the Terms
Get a Pet reserves the right to change these terms at any time by publishing updated versions on our website. The version of the terms that applies to your order is the version available on the website at the time of your order.
¶Dispute Resolution
If you have a problem with a product or purchase, we ask that you first contact us at shop@getapet.com so we can help you.
If the problem cannot be resolved through dialogue with us, you can turn to the EU's online dispute resolution platform (ODR platform). Through this platform, consumers and businesses can find a dispute resolution body and go through a process to resolve the consumer's complaint. The ODR platform can be found at: https://ec.europa.eu/odr
As a consumer, you are always protected by the mandatory rules that follow from Swedish consumer legislation. More information about your rights as a consumer can be found on the Swedish Consumer Agency's website.
