Our Story

The idea behind Get a Pet was born in 2018 when Fredrik, one of our founders, tried to buy a puppy and realized how difficult it was to find a trustworthy seller. That experience inspired the creation of a platform that protects both buyers and breeders and makes sure every sale is transparent and safe. After talking to breeders across the country, we launched the project in 2018. What started as a platform for dog sales has now grown into a trusted marketplace for both dogs and cats, with tools that make breeders’ everyday work easier and give buyers a smoother and more secure experience.
