Medium French scent hound with short legs, long sturdy body and gentle, noble expression. Affectionate, calm at home and sociable with dogs, but driven by scent outdoors. Needs moderate exercise, positive training, secure fencing and regular care for ears, weight, back and joints.

Goldendoodle: friendly, people‑oriented cross of Golden Retriever and Poodle, usually medium–large and athletic. Intelligent and highly trainable, it suits active families and often excels as a therapy dog. Coat is wavy to curly with low shedding but needs frequent grooming and care.
