Skaffa Hund Launches New App: Dogs!

We at Skaffa Hund have created a brand-new app for all dog owners and dog lovers!

We’re incredibly proud to finally introduce Dogs, an app we’ve built from the ground up and that you can download to your phone today!

Here at Skaffa Hund we’re a bunch of dog lovers, and we felt there really should be a dedicated platform for dog enthusiasts like us. We spent days and nights figuring out how it should work: which features matter most, how we can make everyday dog ownership smoother, how we keep your dog’s wellbeing at the center, and how we can make having a dog even more fun and rewarding.

We landed on a few key features and got to work!
On January 1, 2022, our developer Fredrik wrote the very first line of code, and we haven’t stopped for a single day since. We’ve tested, improved, and discussed the app for countless hours.

There are lots of fun and smart features in Dogs, but here are a few of our favorites:

Create dog profiles, follow other dog lovers, and upload photos and videos. Chat with other dog owners about anything and everything related to dogs. We bring it all together in one place.

Places and services

Find the nearest cafés, restaurants, daycare, shops, parks, and much more – all dog-friendly, of course! We’ve collected thousands of places and services across Sweden. Every place in the app welcomes your best friend. Get directions if you’re driving, or find the closest spot based on where you are, without having to ask around.

Get reminders when it’s time to book the next vaccination or when your dog needs daily medication. You can also update key information like weight and track your dog’s progress. You can even log your walks, see where you went, and save your favorite routes. Everything can be shared if more than one person owns the same dog. Last but not least, you can add your insurance information and get help finding the best offers.
