Ancient Japanese spitz-type hunting dog, small yet muscular with foxlike face, curled tail and plush double coat in red, black and tan or sesame with urajiro. Independent, catlike, loyal but reserved, strong-willed, high prey drive, needs early socialisation, firm positive training and regular exercise.

Medium, athletic Croatian scent hound with a short red‑and‑white coat and gentle expression. Affectionate and family‑oriented, yet strongly driven to track game. Needs 1–2 hours of daily exercise plus mental work. Generally healthy but rare outside Croatia, so breeders can be hard to find.
