Papillon vs Romanian Mioritic Shepherd Dog

The Papillon is a small, elegant toy dog with large butterfly-like ears, a fine, silky parti-coloured coat and a plumed tail. Lively, intelligent and highly trainable, it enjoys activity and mental stimulation, makes an alert watchdog, needs regular brushing, and often lives into the mid–late teens.

Large, powerful livestock guardian from Romania’s Carpathians, with a robust build and long, dense, shaggy coat. Calm and devoted with family but reserved with strangers, it is independent, strongly territorial, needs early socialisation, firm fair training, space, and experienced ownership.
