Papillon vs Ibizan Hound

The Papillon is a small, elegant toy dog with large butterfly-like ears, a fine, silky parti-coloured coat and a plumed tail. Lively, intelligent and highly trainable, it enjoys activity and mental stimulation, makes an alert watchdog, needs regular brushing, and often lives into the mid–late teens.

The Ibizan Hound is a tall, deer‑like hunting dog with huge upright ears, a lean athletic build, and smooth or wire coats in red and white. Sensitive and intelligent, it’s calm at home yet driven to chase, needs secure fencing, plenty of exercise, and gentle, positive training.
