The Norwegian Lundehund is a rare, small spitz-type dog with at least six toes per foot, great flexibility, and a weather-resistant double coat. Once used to hunt puffins on Norwegian cliffs, it is now an active, alert companion needing gentle training and regular mental and physical exercise.

Medium, robust German hunting spaniel built for dense cover, with a thick, weather‑resistant coat in brown or brown-white. Very loyal, often one-person focused yet family friendly. Highly energetic, driven working gundog that needs intensive exercise and meaningful tasks; still uncommon outside Germany.
