Cimarrón Uruguayo vs Papillon

The Cimarrón Uruguayo is Uruguay’s national dog, a medium‑large, muscular guardian shaped by survival in the wild. Loyal, territorial, and reserved with strangers, it suits experienced owners. It has a short, low‑maintenance brindle or fawn coat and needs firm training and ample exercise.

The Papillon is a small, elegant toy dog with large butterfly-like ears, a fine, silky parti-coloured coat and a plumed tail. Lively, intelligent and highly trainable, it enjoys activity and mental stimulation, makes an alert watchdog, needs regular brushing, and often lives into the mid–late teens.
