Vi på Åkerö's föder upp irländsk varghund i Stora Levene. Våra irländska varghundar registreras med namnleden Åkerö's Wolf. Hundar från vår uppfödning har tilldelats svenska och danska championtitlar, och en av dem har även haft titeln Nordisk vinnare 2023. År 2024 blev en av våra hundar bäst i rasen vid en officiell DKK-utställning. Året därpå vann en hund från vår uppfödning tävlingen om bästa unghund vid en svensk SKK-utställning. Genom åren har vi även använt kennelnamnet för basset hound, blodhund och grand basset griffon vendéen.
