Before picking up your dog

There are a number of things it’s good to have ready at home, which you’ll be able to use as soon as you bring your dog home. Some of these are:

  • A dog bed
  • Food and water bowls suitable for the breed

What should I expect from the breeder?

There are certain things you should expect to receive from the breeder, including:

  • Registration certificate
  • Purchase agreement
  • Puppy health certificate
  • Vaccination certificate
  • Vaccination and deworming schedule
  • Ownership registration form
  • Most breeders also include a bag of the food the puppy has been eating

Psst! Remember to take out dog insurance before your dog moves in with you. For the best protection, the insurance should start from day one, with no gap from any previous insurance. To make things easier for you, we have a partnership with Trygg-Hansa.
