Alaskan malamute-tiken Mushi, född 17 augusti 2020, söker ett nytt hem. Hon finns i Kil och kan flytta från 2 juli 2026.
Mushi är född och uppvuxen hos oss, liksom hennes mamma och mormor. Hon bor i hundgård men trivs även bra inomhus. Hon är mjuk, lyhörd och väldigt kelig. Hon har haft en valpkull som hon skötte exemplariskt.
Hon är en härlig friluftskompis som älskar äventyr och passar även för dig som är intresserad av drag. Mushi har gått som ledarhund. Hon har fungerat bra med tikarna i vår flock, men i sitt nya hem bör hennes umgänge vara hanar. Hon är inte van vid småhundar eller andra smådjur.

Vi är Cheenik's och föder upp alaskan malamute i Kil. Vår historia med rasen under kennelnamnet går tillbaka till 2010. År 2023 registrerade vi även grönlandshund, och vår senaste registrering av alaskan malamute är från 2024. Bland våra uppfödningar finns en alaskan malamute som blivit både svensk polarhundschampion och svensk utställningschampion. Hundar vi fött upp har även fått officiella utställningsmeriter. En alaskan malamute tilldelades Excellent och CK 2022, och en grönlandshund fick Excellent, CK och reservcertifikat vid Svenska Polarhundklubbens officiella utställning i Orsa 2025. Under vårt kennelnamn har vi alltså fött upp två polarhundsraser, med längst historia inom alaskan malamute.

The Alaskan Malamute is a large, powerful Arctic sled dog bred by the Mahlemut Inuit to pull heavy loads. It has a dense double coat that sheds heavily, a friendly, social nature, strong prey and working drive, high exercise needs, and can be independent and challenging to train.
