Newton är efter Killehills Meghan och Power Aguzannis. Meg och Power är mycket trevliga hundar med bra mentalitet och hälsa. De används främst som apportörer vid fågel- och småviltjakt och är båda meriterade på jaktprov i Sverige och Danmark.
