Irish Red Setter

An energetic, affectionate pointing dog with a chestnut-red coat, long ears, and an elegant, athletic build. Bred to find and point game birds, the Irish Red Setter needs plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and close interaction with its owner. Playful and often slow to mature, this breed is best suited to an active home with time for training, companionship, and regular grooming.
