Wenche Ulleberg-Bøhmer er oppdretter av siberian husky i Nannestad under kennelnavnet Negi-Inu. Kennelnavnet ble brukt i oppdrett av shiba allerede i 2007, og shibaer fra eget oppdrett har senere oppnådd norske, danske og svenske championtitler samt en internasjonal veteranchampiontittel. En siberian husky fra eget oppdrett med Negi-Inu-navnet ble født i 2022. Ulleberg-Bøhmer ble valgt inn i valgkomiteen i Norsk Siberian Husky Klubb i 2022. I 2024 ble hun nominert som varamedlem til NKKs hovedstyre av Norsk Polarhundklubb og Norsk Siberian Husky Klubb. Hun har også deltatt i hundekjøring og fullførte firspannsklassen over to etapper under klubbens vintersamling i 2023. I 2026 fullførte hun 12-kilometersklassen med seksspann under Dørstokkmila.
