LaPerm vs German Rex

The LaPerm is a medium, athletic cat with a distinctive curly coat ranging from soft waves to tight ringlets. Affectionate and people focused, it follows owners around, enjoys play and training, and suits many homes. Generally healthy and long lived, grooming is moderate and mainly involves gentle combing.

A friendly, lively, and playful cat from Germany with a muscular body and a short, soft coat with velvety waves. The German Rex often forms close bonds with its people and enjoys daily interaction and stimulating activities. It needs safe places to climb, undisturbed rest, and gentle care. Its distinctive coat does not make the breed allergen-free, and each cat’s health should be assessed individually.
