The Portuguese Podengo Medio is a medium, athletic Portuguese hunting dog with smooth or wire coats needing simple grooming. Lively, intelligent and affectionate with family, it’s watchful with strangers and has strong prey drive. It needs plenty of daily exercise, training and mental stimulation.
